Evaluation via multivariate techniques of scale factor variability in the rietveld method applied to quantitative phase analysis with X ray powder diffraction

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2006
The present work uses multivariate statistical analysis as a form of establishing the main sources of error in the Quantitative Phase Analysis (QPA) using the Rietveld method.

Quantitative X-Ray Diffraction Analysis of Zn-Al Based Alloys [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2020
The paper describes modification to Fm3–m (space group no. 225) lattice of aluminium based α-solid solution observed in Zn-Al alloys required to properly correlate quantitative data from X-ray diffraction analysis with results obtained from quantitative ...

Mastitomics, the integrated omics of bovine milk in an experimental model of Streptococcus uberis mastitis: 2. Label-free relative quantitative proteomics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Mastitis, inflammation of the mammary gland, is the most common and costly disease of dairy cattle in the western world. It is primarily caused by bacteria, with Streptococcus uberis as one of the most prevalent causative agents.

Quantitative phase analysis of iron ore concentrates [PDF]

open access: yesRem: Revista Escola de Minas, 2002
The quantification of goethite, magnetite, martite and specularite in iron ores was successfully achieved by a combination of wet chemical analysis and x-ray diffraction. It was found that the intensity of the goethite (111) peak is constant for a certain sample provided that the same sample holder is used.

Discretization effects of digital control of thermally tunable 2x2 MZI couplers

open access: yes, 2019
We describe how digital voltage driving of tunable 2×2 Mach-Zehnder couplers with thermo-optic phase shifters introduces discretization errors which significantly affect programmable photonic circuits.

Quantitative AFM analysis of phase separated borosilicate glass surfaces

open access: yes, 2006
Phase separated borosilicate glass samples were prepared by applying various heat treatments. Using selective chemical etching we performed AFM measurement on the phase separated glass surfaces.

Qualitative observation of reversible phase change in astrochemical ethanethiol ices using infrared spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Here we report the first evidence for a reversible phase change in an ethanethiol ice prepared under astrochemical conditions. InfraRed (IR) spectroscopy was used to monitor the morphology of the ice using the Ssingle bondH stretching vibration, a ...

Quantitative phase deformability cytometry for noninvasive high‐throughput characterization of cells

open access: yesView, 2023
Currently available deformability cytometry, combining microfluidics with the bright‐field high‐speed imaging system, has allowed label‐free mechanical characterizations of cells at a rate of hundreds of cells per second.

Quantitative Phase Analysis of the Zrnbmoge Alloys Using Neutron Diffraction Techniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Quantitative analysis by neutron diffraction technique can be utilized to measure not only the type of compounds but also the amount of compounds present in a solid or powder system.

Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.
