Ancilla-induced amplification of quantum Fisher information [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal Plus, 2018
Given a quantum state with an unknown parameter, the Quantum Fisher Information (QFI) is a measure of the amount of information that an observable can extract about the parameter. QFI also quantifies the maximum achievable precision in estimating the parameter with a given amount of resource via an inequality known as quantum Cramer-Rao bound.

Maximal Quantum Fisher Information for Mixed States [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2019
We study quantum metrology for unitary dynamics. Analytic solutions are given for both the optimal unitary state preparation starting from an arbitrary mixed state and the corresponding optimal measurement precision. This represents a rigorous generalization of known results for optimal initial states and upper bounds on measurement precision which can

Quantum nonunital dynamics of spin-bath-assisted Fisher information

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2016
The nonunital non-Markovian dynamics of qubits immersed in a spin bath is studied without any Markovian approximation. The environmental effects on the precisions of quantum parameter estimation are taken into account.

Quantum Covariance, Quantum Fisher Information, and the Uncertainty Relations [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2009
In this paper, the relation between quantum covariances and quantum Fisher informations is studied. This study is applied to generalize a recently proved uncertainty relation based on quantum Fisher information. The proof given here considerably simplifies the previously proposed proofs and leads to more general inequalities.

Hierarchy of measurement-induced Fisher information for composite states

open access: yes, 2012
Quantum Fisher information, as an intrinsic quantity for quantum states, is a central concept in quantum detection and estimation. When quantum measurements are performed on quantum states, classical probability distributions arise, which in turn lead to

Quantum fisher information transfer and distribution in a hierarchical environment

open access: yesResults in Physics
How quantum information encoded into a quantum state is lost, or transferred when an interest quantum system is coupled to its environment, is a fundamental issue in quantum information processing.

Fisher information and asymptotic normality in system identification for quantum Markov chains

open access: yes, 2011
This paper deals with the problem of estimating the coupling constant $\theta$ of a mixing quantum Markov chain. For a repeated measurement on the chain's output we show that the outcomes' time average has an asymptotically normal (Gaussian) distribution,

Continuous-variable phase-estimation with unitary and random linear disturbance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We address the problem of continuous-variable quantum phase estimation in the presence of linear disturbance at the Hamiltonian level, by means of Gaussian probe states.

Thermomagnetic properties and its effects on Fisher entropy with Schioberg plus Manning-Rosen potential (SPMRP) using Nikiforov-Uvarov functional analysis (NUFA) and supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) methods

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Thermomagnetic properties, and its effects on Fisher information entropy with Schioberg plus Manning-Rosen potential are studied using NUFA and SUSYQM methods in the presence of the Greene-Aldrich approximation scheme to the centrifugal term.
