Abstract This paper offers an alternative reading of decolonial geographies by examining how people make due in the context of colonial natures. Drawing on collaborative ethnographic research, we illustrate how everyday acts of reclaiming ancestral lands serve as practices of resistance that foment Enxet and Sanapaná resurgence in Paraguay's Chaco.

Sustainable Leather Manufacturing: Leveraging the Role of Plant Extracts for a Greener Future
The global leather industry processes about 17 million tons of hides and skins annually, producing approximately 600 million cubic meters of tannery wastewater with pollutant levels often exceeding regulatory standards. The main aim of this review was to synthesize, evaluate, and compile information on the potential of eco‐benign plant phytochemicals ...

Woody plant regeneration in the semiarid Chaco forest: relationship with biotic and abiotic factors in microsites created by logging [PDF]
La cosecha forestal genera micrositios que pueden ser colonizados por distintas especies de plantas leñosas, donde factores bióticos y abióticos pueden influir en la regeneración. En este trabajo se describen tres micrositios creados por la tala (caminos

This study compared 2 non‐invasive DNA collection methods for river otters and found that fecal swabbing consistently outperformed DETs buffer storage across both temperate and tropical environments. Swabbing yielded higher PCR and genotyping success rates while reducing genotyping errors, particularly when sampling anal jelly in tropical conditions ...
