Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

A novel R-matrix formalism for three-body channels

open access: yes, 2023
At low incident neutron energies nuclear reaction cross sections exhibit a distinct resonance structure which cannot properly be described by (semi-)microscopic models.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

New phyllosilicate types in a carbonaceous chondrite matrix

open access: yes, 1979
CARBONACEOUS chondrites provide valuable information as they are the least altered examples of early Solar System material1. The matrix constitutes a major proportion of carbonaceous chondrites.

CNC–PNIPAM Drug Delivery System Improves Endometrial Receptivity via Natural Killer Cell Immune Tolerance in Endometriosis

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research
Endometriosis (EM) results in pelvic adhesions and chronic inflammation, which significantly reduce embryo implantation and the clinical pregnancy rates of in vitro fertilization (IVF), affecting 190 million women worldwide.

Instanton R-matrix and W $$ \mathcal{W} $$ -symmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We study the relation between W 1 + ∞ $$ {\mathcal{W}}_{1+\infty } $$ algebra and Arbesfeld-Schiffmann Tsymbaliuk Yangian using the Maulik-Okounkov R-matrix. The central object linking these two pictures is the Miura transformation. Using the results of

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
