Novel Application of Cell Penetrating R11 Peptide for Diagnosis of Bladder Cancer

Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology, 2018
As a novel cell-permeable peptide, polyarginine (R11) showed great potential as contrast agent to target bladder cancer (BCa) for therapeutic applications. However, its diagnostic ability and uptake efficiency between BCa and normal bladder tissues is unknown.

Polyhydroxybutyrate production from oil palm empty fruit bunch using Bacillus megaterium R11

Bioresource Technology, 2013
Oil palm empty fruit bunch (OPEFB), contains abundant cellulose and hemicelluloses and can be used as a renewable resource for fuel and chemical production. This study, as the first attempt, aims to convert OPEFB derived sugars to polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB).

Photographic study of bubble dynamics for pool boiling of refrigerant R11

Heat and Mass Transfer, 2006
A digital photographic study of pool boiling with R11 was performed on a horizontal transparent heater at pressure at 0.1 MPa. A high-speed digital camera was applied to record the bubble behaviors of boiling process. The departure diameter, departure time, and nucleation site density at different heat flux were obtained.

Global metabolome analysis of Dunaliella tertiolecta, Phaeobacter italicus R11 Co-cultures using thermal desorption - Comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography - Time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TD-GC×GC-TOFMS).

Phytochemistry, 2021
Dunaliella tertiolecta is a marine microalgae that has been studied extensively as a potential carbon-neutral biofuel source (Tang et al., 2011). Microalgae oil contains high quantities of energy-rich fatty acids and lipids, but is not yet commercially ...

Bacillus coagulans R11 consumption influenced the abundances of cecum antibiotic resistance genes in lead-exposed laying hens.

Environmental Pollution, 2021
Bacillus coagulans is regarded as a clean, safe and helpful probiotic additive in the production of livestock and poultry breeds. Some studies have also shown that Bacillus coagulans can adsorb heavy metals in water, even in the gut of animals.

R11 Peptides Can Promote the Molecular Imaging of Spherical Nucleic Acids for the Bladder Cancer Margin Identification

Social Science Research Network, 2021
One of the critical problems in bladder cancer (BC) management is local recurrence of disease. However, achieving accurate delineation of tumor margins intraoperatively remains extremely difficult due to the lack of effective tumor margin recognition ...
