This study used the Ansys Fluent® computational fluid dynamics code in conjunction with a volume of fluid multiphase model and phase‐change model to analyze the flow boiling evaporation heat transfer coefficient and flow patterns of R32 and R1234yf with Al2O3 nanoparticle through the U‐bend tube with a curvature ratio for downward‐oriented flow.
