Biology, ecology, and conservation of the Italian hare Lepus corsicanus: a review

The Italian hare Lepus corsicanus, an endemic lagomorph of Italy, serves as a critical case study in evolutionary biology and conservation. Once taxonomically debated, modern genetic and morphological analyses confirm its status as a distinct Pleistocene lineage restricted to the central‐southern Italian Peninsula and Sicily.

Myeloablative Busulfan, Fludarabine and Melphalan Conditioning for Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Childhood Myeloid Malignancy

We report our single‐center experience of transplant outcomes with a busulfan, fludarabine and melphalan‐based conditioning regimen for children < 18 years of age. The regimen was shown to be well tolerated and effective for heavily pretreated children with high‐risk myeloid malignancies prior to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

Chromosomal and immune dysregulation underlying granular mitosis in glioblastoma

Granular mitosis (GM) morphology is linked to PI3K/PTEN pathway alterations, chromosomal disorganization, and impaired innate immunity. Cells exhibiting GM morphology are associated with localized immune responses within their immediate spatial microenvironment.

Summary Background Adipose tissue‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (AT‐MSCs) are entering the market of orthobiologics suitable for managing musculoskeletal disorders in horses, due to their accessibility and reparative capacity. Ethical considerations in developing allogeneic products require a low‐morbidity approach to tissue harvest.
