Radiation defects in germanium. radiation defects annealed at ∼260°C in n-type germanium

Radiation Effects and Defects in Solids, 1992
Abstract Point defects produced by neutron, electron or γ-ray irradiation were studied by electrical measurements. The defect levels were analyzed by DLTS technique. Annealing of radiation induced defects at about 260°C was obtained in 20 min isochronal annealings.

Chornobyl, radiation, neural tube defects, and microcephaly

European Journal of Medical Genetics, 2018
Pregnant women residing in areas impacted by the Chornobyl ionizing radiation of the Rivne Province in Ukraine have persistent higher levels of incorporated cesium-137. In these areas the neural tube defects and microcephaly rates are significantly higher than in areas with lower maternal cesium-137 incorporated levels.

Radiation induced defects in graphite

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2022
The Raman intensity ratio ID/IG for: (a) graphite-rich pencil rods irradiated using x-ray doses up to 20 Gy; (b) a restricted view of the ID/IG response for the same group of media, limited to x-ray doses of no more than 6 Gy; (c1 and c2) an extended group of graphite-rich media irradiated using 60Co gamma-rays; (d) a restricted view of the ID/IG ...

Radiation defects in graphite

Philosophical Magazine, 2007
This article discusses the nature of radiation defects in graphite, reviewing past and recent developments in understanding their structure, interactions and effect on physical properties. The principal focus is on behaviour at the atomic and microstructural level, with an interest both in understanding graphite moderator damage in nuclear reactors and

Radiation defects in graphite

Soviet Atomic Energy, 1976
The authors have measured the ESR signals over the range 100-300 K for irradiated graphite which enabled us to determine the contributions to the signal from the localized PMC and the current carriers (delocalized PMC) and to compare the concentrations of the two types of PMC with the changes in linear dimensions produced by irradiation.

Radiation defects in feldspars

Physics and Chemistry of Minerals, 1982
Various radiation defects were characterized and analyzed by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) in 15 feldspars of different compositions after X-ray irradiation. A hole center on oxygen adjacent to two aluminum ions is formed in most feldspars, except those with very high An content.
