A QoS Guarantee Based Hybrid Media Access Control Protocol of Aeronautical Ad Hoc Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In order to meet different data rate and timeliness requirements of different services in aeronautical network communications based on frequency and time-hopping mechanism, a hybrid media access control protocol based on pre-allocation of transmission ...

Research on Multi-camera Multi-target Tracking Method Based on Hierarchical Relational Model of Trajectory Tree

open access: yesJisuanji kexue yu tansuo, 2020
To improve the accuracy of camera target tracking, a multi-camera multi-target tracking method based on multi-hypothesis tracking (MHT) framework using hierarchical relation model of trajectory tree is proposed.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Dynamic Matrix Evolutionary Algorithm Based on Probability Distribution [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2017
Traditional evolutionary algorithms usually use the macro-level interaction between individuals or populations to co-evolution,with less consideration in the individual gene encoding in micro level when interacting local optimization.Aiming at this ...

Randomized Communication in Radio Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
A communication network is called a radio network if its nodes exchange messages in the following restricted way. First, a send operation performed by a node delivers copies of the same message to all directly reachable nodes. Secondly, a node can successfully receive an incoming message only if exactly one of its neighbors sent a message in that step.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Applicability of mitotic figure counting by deep learning: a development and pan‐cancer validation study

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...
