Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Point Dose Measurement for Verification of Treatment Planning System using an Indigenous Heterogeneous Pelvis Phantom for Clarkson, Convolution, Superposition, and Fast Superposition Algorithms [PDF]
Background: Nowadays, advanced radiotherapy equipment includes algorithms to calculate dose. The verification of the calculated doses is important to achieve accurate results. Mostly homogeneous dosimetric phantoms are available commercially which do not

Because of the scarcity of randomized trials comparing toxicity and outcomes of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for oropharyngeal cancer (OPC) with 3D-conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT), we performed a matched-pair analysis from prospectively ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy versus intensity-modulated radiotherapy in carcinoma cervix
Background: Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological cancer among Indian women. 3D-CRT treatment is associated with more acute and late toxicities, because of close proximity of bladder and rectum to the cervix.
