Convergence analysis of a power series based iterative method having seventh order of convergence

open access: yesМатематичні Студії
In this paper, we propose a new three-point iterative scheme for solving nonlinear equations, which achieves seventh-order convergence. The method begins with a standard Newton iteration, followed by two weighted-Newton steps constructed using power ...

Scaling properties for the radius of convergence of a lindstedt series: the standard MAP

open access: yesJournal de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées, 1999
The authors deal with a problem of KAM theory. The standard map of the form \(T:\;X=x+y+\varepsilon \sin x,\;Y=y+\varepsilon \sin x, \) which is area-preserving on cylinder, is considered. The homotopically nontrivial invariant curves with rotation number \(\omega\) of the map \(T\) may be determined by changing the coordinates \(x=\alpha +u,\;y=2\pi ...

Ultrasmall High‐Entropy Materials: Nanoscale Effects, Synthesis, and Mechanistic Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review article focuses on sub‐10 nm high‐entropy materials that combine nanoscale design with complex compositions for next‐generation applications. ABSTRACT Ultrasmall high‐entropy nanomaterials (USHENMs, <10 nm) merge multicomponent chemistry with size‐dependent effects, forming a distinct class of materials with unprecedented properties.

A Dual‐Functional Electrolyte Additive for Highly Reversible Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a dual‐function additive for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. TBAB disrupts the hydrogen‐bond network of water while TBA+ adsorbs on Zn to improve interfacial wettability and regulate Zn2+ flux, resulting in suppressed dendrite growth and parasitic reactions. This synergy extended the lifespan of Zn|

Local Convergence Analysis of an Eighth Order Scheme Using Hypothesis Only on the First Derivative

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2016
In this paper, we propose a local convergence analysis of an eighth order three-step method to approximate a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation in a Banach space setting. Further, we also study the dynamic behaviour of that scheme.

Enhancement of Dielectric Breakdown Strength and Recoverable Energy Density in Three‐Dimensional Heterointerfaces on BaTiO3–PbZrO3–PbTiO3 Films via Room‐Temperature Nano‐Clustering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A room‐temperature aerosol deposition process yields multiphase nano‐clustered dielectric capacitors containing discrete BaTiO3, PbZrO3, and PbTiO3 crystals. This architecture creates three‐dimensional heterointerfaces that induce interfacial charge trapping and effectively inhibit breakdown propagation.

Conformal Metallosaccharide Hybrid Films for Protecting Wood Surfaces From Environmental Damage

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ti‐ribose hybrid films fabricated by molecular layer deposition form a conformal and uniform coating on wood surfaces, which provides water repellence, dimensional stability, and resistance to acidic and alkaline environments, while preserving the natural appearance.

Extending the radius of convergence for a class of Euler-Halley type methods

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2019
The aim of this paper is to extend the  radius of convergence and improve the ratio of convergence for a certain class of Euler-Halley type methods with one parameter in a Banach space.

Shaping Matter with Acoustic Waves: From Particles to Functional Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Acoustic‐directed assembly is reviewed as a materials‐oriented strategy for organizing particles, polymers, metals, and biological systems into functional structures. The review distinguishes reversible manipulation from permanent structure formation through medium fixation, particle fixation, and in situ material generation, highlighting routes toward
