Tunable rail-to-rail FGMOS transconductor

Proceedings of 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2010
A tunable CMOS transconductor is presented. Input rail-to-rail operation is achieved using floating-gate MOS (FGMOS) transistors. Tuning is also obtained using FGMOS transistors, which are biased in weak or moderate inversion to achieve precise output current scaling.

A 1.2 V rail-to-rail switched buffer

1998 IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems. Surfing the Waves of Science and Technology (Cat. No.98EX196), 2002
A CMOS low-voltage (1.2 V) switched buffer to be used as input stage in switched-opamp circuits is presented. The circuit is based on the use of an op-amp featuring rail-to-rail input and output swing with constant transconductance (gm) over the input common mode voltage. The circuit operates from a single 1.2 V, consuming about 0.6 mW.

A 30 V rail-to-rail operational amplifier

Microelectronics Journal, 2015
This work presents a high-voltage (HV) operational amplifier (OPA). OPAs are widely used in signal conditioning circuits for industrial applications and integrated circuits (ICs). Particularly, in HV applications like BMS (battery management system), the signal conditioning circuits are always used to transfer voltage signal between HV domain and low ...

Rail-to-Rail Output Stages

1995
The main goal of this work was to design an input stage which works rail-to-rail and have constant transconductance for the entire common mode range, and it was to be done without the necessity of matching p-and n-channel transistors. Two new circuits which possess these requirements were developed in the previous chapter; however, the effort will be ...

A rail-to-rail ping-pong op-amp

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1996
A rail-to-rail ping-pong op-amp achieves offset cancellation and 1/f noise reduction without folding of the input spectrum. The clocking scheme minimizes the clock feedthrough and the residual offset due to charge injection. With a clock frequency of 100 kHz, the residual offset is less than 100 /spl mu/V, and the input referred noise is about 225 nV ...

A RAIL-TO-RAIL BUFFER AMPLIFIER FOR LCD DRIVER

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2011
A high-speed low-power rail-to-rail buffer amplifier, which is suitable for liquid crystal display driver applications, is proposed. An offset voltage is intentionally built in the second stage to cut off the transistors of last stage from the output node in the stable state and hence achieve low dc power consumption. The input referred offset voltage

A rail-to-rail CMOS op amp

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1988
A CMOS op amp (operational amplifier) is reported which has a rail-to-rail voltage range at its input as well as its output. An area-efficient output stage has been used. While the entire op amp occupies only 600 mil/sup 2/, when used as a unity-gain buffer and with +or-5-V supplies, the op amp can drive a 9-V/sub pp//1-kHz sine wave across a 300 ...

A Switched-Capacitor Amplifier with True Rail-to-Rail Input Range without Using a Rail-to-Rail Op-Amp

2017 30th International Conference on VLSI Design and 2017 16th International Conference on Embedded Systems (VLSID), 2017
This paper proposes an alternate switched-capacitor amplifier capable of handling rail-to-rail input common-mode voltage without using a rail-to-rail op-amp. Unlike most existing switched-capacitor architectures, the proposed alternate architecture holds the op-amp input terminals at a fixed voltage level in both the sample and hold phases irrespective
