Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Tricritical point in random-field Ising model [PDF]
journal articleThe numerical investigation of the random-field Ising model by Houghton, Khurana, and Seco1 has revealed a number of interesting features concerning the three-dimensional Ising model in a random external field Bt. Earlier, Aharony2 had

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

An Inhomogeneous Bayesian Texture Model for Spatially Varying Parameter Estimation [PDF]
In statistical model based texture feature extraction, features based on spatially varying parameters achievehigher discriminative performances compared to spatially constant parameters. In this paper we formulate anovel Bayesian framework which achieves

The random field Blume-Capel model on the Bethe lattice [PDF]
© 2020 The Physical Society of the Republic of China (Taiwan)The spin-1 Blume-Capel model is studied under the effect of a bimodal random magnetic field with equal probabilities on the Bethe lattice in terms of the exact recursion relations.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Hidden Markov random field and FRAME modelling for TCA-image analysis [PDF]
Tooth Cementum Annulation (TCA) is an age estimation method carried out on thin cross sections of the root of human teeth. Age is computed by adding the tooth eruption age to the count of annual incremental lines that are called tooth rings and appear in

Random field model and statistical quality control [PDF]
A digitalized image of textile material is analyzed with the help of a Gauss-Markov random field model. The parameters of the field are statistically estimated.
