Numerical studies of field theories on random lattices [PDF]
In this thesis we shall be concerned with the study of models which arise as a consequence of adopting discrete regularisations for various Euclidean space quantum field theories. Specifically, we employ a random triangulation of the continuum space, and

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Sharp asymptotics for metastability in the random eld Curie-Weiss model [PDF]
In this paper we study the metastable behavior of one of the simplest disordered spin system, the random field Curie-Weiss model. We will show how the potential theoretic approach can be used to prove sharp estimates on capacities and metastable exit ...

Camera matching based on spatiotemporal activity and conditional random field model
In this study, the authors investigate how to find correspondences (pixel‐level matches) between two video sequences with overlapping views, recorded by different stationary uncalibrated video cameras, without imposing any constrains on, or requiring any

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

No spin glass phase in the ferromagnetic random-field random-temperature scalar Ginzburg-Landau model [PDF]
Krzakala, Ricci-Tersenghi and Zdeborova have recently shown that the random field Ising model with non-negative interactions and an arbitrary external magnetic field on an arbitrary lattice does not have a static spin-glass phase.

Efficient combination graph model based on conditional random field for online multi-object tracking
The joint detection and re-identification (re-ID) strategy shares network features of detection and re-ID, sacrifices the complex probability graph model pairing strategy, and consolidates a two-stage video tracking process into a one-stage, making the ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...
