Tail Index Estimation of PageRanks in Evolving Random Graphs

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
Random graphs are subject to the heterogeneities of the distributions of node indices and their dependence structures. Superstar nodes to which a large proportion of nodes attach in the evolving graphs are considered.

Class IIa HDACs forced degradation allows resensitization of oxaliplatin‐resistant FBXW7‐mutated colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

The Diameter of the Minimum Spanning Tree of a Complete Graph [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2006
Let $X_1,\ldots,X_{n\choose 2}$ be independent identically distributed weights for the edges of $K_n$. If $X_i \neq X_j$ for$ i \neq j$, then there exists a unique minimum weight spanning tree $T$ of $K_n$ with these edge weights.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

The probability of planarity of a random graph near the critical point [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2013
Erdős and Rényi conjectured in 1960 that the limiting probability $p$ that a random graph with $n$ vertices and $M=n/2$ edges is planar exists. It has been shown that indeed p exists and is a constant strictly between 0 and 1.

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Identify the Subject and Content of Tweets on Twitter Using Multilayer Neural Network Method and Random Graphs [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research, 2023
The result of the research is a proposed model for text analysis and identifying the subject and content of texts on Twitter. In this model, two main phases are implemented for classification.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Random graphs, models and generators of scale-free graphs

open access: yesТруды Института системного программирования РАН, 2018
In this paper  various models of random graphs describing real networks arising in different research fields: biology, computer science, engineering, sociology are considered. Particular attention is paid to  models describing social networks.
