Ranking function based on Higher Order Statistics (RF-HOS) for two-sample microarray experiments [PDF]
This paper proposes a novel ranking function, called RFHOS by incorporating higher order cumulants into the ranking function for finding differentially expressed genes.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Ranking Models in Conjoint Analysis [PDF]
In this paper we consider the estimation of probabilisticranking models in the context of conjoint experiments. By usingapproximate rather than exact ranking probabilities, we do notneed to compute high-dimensional integrals.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Delta Machine Learning to Improve Scoring-Ranking-Screening Performances of Protein–Ligand Scoring Functions [PDF]
Protein–ligand scoring functions are widely used in structure-based drug design for fast evaluation of protein–ligand interactions, and it is of strong interest to develop scoring functions with machine-learning approaches. In this work, by expanding the

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Solving Fuzzy Games Problems by Using Ranking Functions
In this paper, we deal with games of fuzzy payoffs problem while there is uncertainty in data. We use the trapezoidal membership function to transform the data into fuzzy numbers and utilize the three different ranking function algorithms.
