Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Ranking the ‘Diamond Core’ economic journals: A note
By estimating the production frontier with the application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) we rank the ‘Diamond Core’ economic journals as has been presented by Diamond (1989).

Continuous ranking of zeros of special functions
. We consider the concept of continuous ranking of zeros of certain special functions from the point of view of the transformation theory of second order linear differential equations.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Preference modelling approaches based on cumulative functions using simulation with applications
In decision making problems under uncertainty, Mean Variance Model (MVM) consistent with Expected Utility Theory (EUT) plays an important role in ranking preferences for various alternative options.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

On the Bayesian Two-Sample Problem for Ranking Data
We consider the two-sample problem involving a new class of angle-based models for ranking data. These models are functions of the cosine of the angle between a ranking and a consensus vector.

Search behavior-driven training for result re-ranking
In this paper we present a framework for improving the ranking learning process, taking into account the implicit search behaviors of users. Our approach is query-centric.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
