Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Approximation by rational functions in Morrey-Smirnov classes
In this article, we investigate the direct problem of approximation theory in Morrey-Smirnov classes of analytic functions, defined on a doubly-connected domain bounded by two sufficiently smooth curves.

Fejer means of rational Fourier – Chebyshev series and approximation of function |x|s
Approximation properties of Fejer means of Fourier series by Chebyshev – Markov system of algebraic fractions and approximation by Fejer means of function |x|s, 0 < s < 2, on the interval [−1,1], are studied.

Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) linear time-invariant (LTI) systems exhibit enormous computational costs for high-dimensional problems. To address this problem, we propose a novel approach for reducing the dimensionality of MIMO systems. The method

Neural-Network-Based Curve Fitting Using Totally Positive Rational Bases
This paper proposes a method for learning the process of curve fitting through a general class of totally positive rational bases. The approximation is achieved by finding suitable weights and control points to fit the given set of data points using a ...

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

On monotone rational approximation
The author solves a problem raised by R. A. DeVore in his several lectures during the last 15 years. The author finds the exact order of monotone rational approximation for the Sobolev classes \(W_p^1\). He proves that if \(f\) is an absolutely continuous function on \([0, 1]\) satisfying \(f'\in L_p[0,1 ...

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...
