Machine learning–guided engineering of a plectasin‐derived peptide yields DC05, a potent antimycobacterial candidate. Encapsulation into tuftsin‐functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles enhances intracellular delivery, stability, and activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis while maintaining low cytotoxicity and minimal hemolysis. The combined

In-vivo experimental model for silicosis : fisher 344, sprague dawley and wistar rat strains [PDF]
The selection of an experimental model for silicosis requires a thorough understanding of a number of different pulmonary parameters specific to the animal that is to be used (e.g., clearance time, penetration curves, anatomical differences...), and of ...

Hexachlorobenzene-Induced Incisor Degeneration in Sprague—Dawley Rats [PDF]
Hexachlorobenzene (HCB) was administered to female Sprague—Dawley rats in a 13-week toxicity study conducted for the National Toxicology Program (NTP). Groups of 10 rats were treated by gavage with 0.0, 0.03, 0.1, 0.3, 1.0, 3.0, 10, or 25 mg/kg HCB in corn oil 5 days/week for 13 weeks.

Wound closure is governed by geometry‐orientation coupling: aligned fibers speed migration along their axis but hinder perpendicular advance. In vivo diabetic wound experiments with composition‐matched fibrin, combined with an anisotropic diffusion (biased random‐walk) model, quantify this trade‐off and generate a healing landscape.
