Anti‐Inflammatory Yerba Mate‐Loaded Electrospun Polycaprolactone/Gelatin Membranes for the Management of Endodontic‐Periodontal Lesions

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, Volume 114, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Combined endodontic‐periodontal diseases require integrated endodontic and periodontal treatment. However, extensive bone loss can limit the use of conventional approaches, necessitating regenerative methods such as guided tissue regeneration to manage intrabony defects.

Farnesyltransferase Enables Modular Assembly of Dual‐Functional Nanobody Conjugates for in Vivo Imaging of Inflammation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 42, 12 October 2026.
A modular farnesyltransferase‐based chemoenzymatic platform enables fast, site‐specific labeling of nanobodies for PET imaging of inflammation. CD11b‐targeted PET agents selectively image myeloid‐driven inflammation, while CD45‐targeted PET agents provide sensitive whole‐body immune mapping.

Integrated Implantation of an Ultrasound‐Actuated BiFeO3 Piezoelectric Film and Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Sheet for Spatially and Stage‐Programmed Osteoarthritis Repair

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) therapy remains constrained by the coexistence of irreversible cartilage loss and a persistently hostile joint microenvironment characterized by oxidative stress, synovial inflammation, and impaired tissue‐regenerative signaling.

Electrolyte Solvation Chemistry and Systemic Safety in Potassium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
Electrolyte solvation chemistry determines the interphase that governs potassium‐ion battery performance, regardless of whether the electrode or the electrolyte is the focus of design. This review separates studies that engineer the solvation structure from those that adopt an electrolyte without examining it, and shows that thermal safety is an ...

Targeting Oxidative and Immune Dysregulation in Wound Healing via Gold Nanoparticle Conjugate Chitosan

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 19, 15 October 2026.
This gold nanoparticle–chitosan (AuNP@chitosan) composite promotes burn wound healing by simultaneously regulating endothelial and immune responses. In vitro, the composite protects TNF‐α‐injured HUVECs by reducing ROS, restoring thrombomodulin, and upregulating hypoxia‐adaptive markers.
