Magnetic characteristics of K-, Na- and Rb-doped YBCO ceramics

Abstract The magnetic behavior of Na-, K-, Rb-doped YBCO ceramic samples is investigated at ac magnetic field at 77 K. For small Rb and Na concentrations, an increase of the field-dependent component of the critical current is observed. High dopant concentrations lead to deterioration of the critical parameters of the YBCO material.

Successive phase transitions in Rb₂TeO₄ceramics

Abstract Polycrystalline samples of Rb2TeO4 have been prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction technique at a low temperature (600°C). Preliminary room temperature X-ray studies suggest the formation of the single phase compound of Rb2TeO4 with cell parameters a = 10.582(1) A, b = 8.448(1) A and c = 8.499(1) A in the orthorhombic crystal system.

Effect of Different Dielectric Fluids on Micro EDM of Low Conductivity Ceramic Material RB-SiC

The machining characteristics of reaction bonded silicon carbide (RB-SiC) in micro electrical discharge machining process were studied by using EDM oil, deionized water, and graphite fiber mixed EDM oil as the dielectric fluids.
