Hyperfine spectrum of RbCl

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2006
The molecular beam electric resonance technique has been used to conduct a high precision examination of the hyperfine spectrum of the four isotopomers of RbCl. Coupling constants for the nuclear electric quadrupole interactions, the spin-rotation interactions, the tensor and scalar spin-spin interactions, and a rubidium nuclear octupole interaction ...

EPR of 77Se− in RbCl

Solid State Communications, 1990
Abstract A new selenium center in RbCl is reported, formed after doping with 77 Se, and X - ray irradiation at room temperature. The g and A tensors were determined. It is shown that the center contains one selenium atom. The 77 Se hyperfine data are compared with similar results for Se − and Se − 2 ions in NaCl.

Investigation of the RbF-RbCl-RbBr and RbF-RbCl-RbI ternary systems

Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2008
The RbF-RbCl-RbBr and RbF-RbCl-RbI ternary systems have been investigated using differential thermal analysis. As a result of the analysis, it has been established that continuous solid solutions are formed in the RbF-RbCl-RbBr system, while in the RbF-RbCl-RbBr system, a eutectic is found.

Specific heat of RbCl

Physics Letters A, 1979
Abstract The specific heat of RbCl has been measured in the temperature range of 0.8 K to 16 K. The Debye temperature at 0 K is estimated to be 166 ± 2.5 K.

On the RbClCdCl2 system

Materials Research Bulletin, 1973
Abstract The RbClCdCl 2 phase diagram was re-examined and new data on the sub-solidus behaviour were collected. The tetragonal-cubic transition occurs reversibly at 114 ± 2°C. An anomalous polymorphism of RbCdCl 3 is influenced by the presence of water which favours the formation of an orthorhombic phase at room temperature.

Studies on tin centres in RbCl crystals

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1978
Absorption spectra of RbCl:Sn crystals are studied and all the A,B,C, and D bands corresponding to those with ns2 outer electronic configuration are found. The changes produced upon irradiation with X-rays and on additive and electrolytic coloration are studied.

Hydration of ions in aqueous RbCl solutions

Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2007
Structural studies have been carried out on aqueous rubidium chloride solutions at three concentrations. Particle configurations consistent with neutron and x-ray diffraction data were obtained by reverse Monte Carlo modelling. By applying several coordination constraints, the generally accepted concept concerning the hydration of chloride ions could ...
