Enthalpy increments relative to 298.15 K of RbCl(cr) and RbCl(I)

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1984
Abstract High-temperature drop-calorimetric measurements have been performed on rubidium chloride over the temperature range 373 to 1304 K. Enthalpy increments { H m o ( T ) − H m o (298.15 K)} relative to 298.15 K for solid RbCl between 298.15 and 995 K can be represented by the equation: {H m ° (T)−H m ° (298.15K ...

Letter: freezing theory of rbcl

Physics and Chemistry of Liquids, 1982
Abstract A criterion for freezing of alkali halides in terms of the principal peak of the liquid charge-charge structure factor SQQ(k) has been given in earlier work.1 Subsequently, a theory of freezing of both neutral binary alloys and alkali halides has been developed,2 based on partial liquid structure factors as input information.

ENDOR study of RbCl: S2 ?

Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions, 1994
A recent EPR study revealed an exceptionally well resolved superhyperfine structure in the spectrum of RbCl : S2– for some specific orientations of the magnetic field. In this work a complete angular variation of two sets of 85Rb and 87Rb ENDOR transitions is presented. The corresponding hyperfine and nuclear quadrupole coupling tensors were determined.

Vacancy Dynamics in Molten RbCl

Physics and Chemistry of Liquids, 1989
Abstract A method has been developed for the study of vacancy dynamics in molecular dynamics simulations of either liquids or solids. This has been applied to the case of molten RbCl to show that vacancies may be considered to exist in the liquid state using either static or dynamic criteria, but that these do not represent a significant proportion of ...

Stark Effect of the U-Center in KBr and RbCl

physica status solidi (b), 1974
AbstractThe Stark effect of the U‐center ultraviolet absorption has been observed in KBr and RbCl crystals. Changes of the absorption coefficient due t o the electric field have been measured as a function of photon energy. From these data the position of the excited level 1S(1s, 2s) and the dipole matrix element 〈2S(1s, 2s)z 2 P(1s, 2p) have been ...

Adaptive evolution of rbcL in Conocephalum (Hepaticae, bryophytes)

Gene, 2009
An excess of nonsynonymous substitutions over synonymous ones has been regarded as an important indicator of adaptive evolution or positive selection at the molecular level. We now report such a case for rbcL sequences among cryptic species in Conocephalum (Hepaticae, Bryophytes).

Complex Centres in Additively Coloured RbCl: Li+

physica status solidi (b), 1989
AbstractComplex colour centres in RbCl and RbCl:Li+ are extensively studied. (F2)A centres, never observed so far in this system, are formed and their optical absorption and emission determined. The kinetics of the equilibria among aggregate and associate defects are investigated in order to obtain the highest concentration of (F2)A centres.

Phonon measurement of RbCl at 4.9 kbar

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 1997
Abstract Phonon energy of rubidium chloride was measured at ambient pressure and at 4.9 kbar which is just below the structural phase transition pressure from B1 to B2 phase. The energies of the [0 0 1]LA mode at 4.9 kbar increased from those at ambient pressure. On the other hand, the energies of the [0 0 1]TA mode slightly decreased.
