A Reconstruction-Computation-Quantization (RCQ) Approach to Node Operations in LDPC Decoding [PDF]

open access: greenarXiv, 2020
In this paper, we propose a finite-precision decoding method that features the three steps of Reconstruction, Computation, and Quantization (RCQ). Unlike Mutual-Information-Maximization Quantized Belief Propagation (MIM-QBP), RCQ can approximate either belief propagation or Min-Sum decoding.

FPGA Implementations of Layered MinSum LDPC Decoders Using RCQ Message Passing [PDF]

open access: greenarXiv, 2021
Non-uniform message quantization techniques such as reconstruction-computation-quantization (RCQ) improve error-correction performance and decrease hardware complexity of low-density parity-check (LDPC) decoders that use a flooding schedule. Layered MinSum RCQ (L-msRCQ) enables message quantization to be utilized for layered decoders and irregular ...

LDPC Decoding With Degree-Specific Neural Message Weights and RCQ Decoding [PDF]

open access: greenIEEE Transactions on Communications, 2023
Recently, neural networks have improved MinSum message-passing decoders for low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes by multiplying or adding weights to the messages, where the weights are determined by a neural network. The neural network complexity to determine distinct weights for each edge is high, often limiting the application to relatively short ...

The effect of resveratrol, curcumin and quercetin combination on immuno-suppression of tumor microenvironment for breast tumor-bearing mice [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Resveratrol, curcumin, and quercetin are the secondary metabolites from medicinal food homology plants, that have been proven their potency in cancer treatment. However, the antitumor effect of a single component is weak.

An examination of the reliability and validity of the recovery capital questionnaire (RCQ)

open access: hybridDrug and Alcohol Dependence, 2022
Recovery capital refers to the resources people can call upon to initiate and sustain alcohol and drug problem resolution. Measuring this phenomenon could help an individual better understand their strengths as well as gauge the impact of any interventions designed to improve recovery capital and / or reduce addiction severity. This study aimed to test

Spectral rate theory for projected two-state kinetics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review X 4:011020, 2014, 2012
Classical rate theories often fail in cases where the observable(s) or order parameter(s) used are poor reaction coordinates or the observed signal is deteriorated by noise, such that no clear separation between reactants and products is possible.

Molecular modeling and UV–vis spectroscopic studies on the mechanism of action of reversed chloroquine (RCQ)

open access: hybridBioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2011
Reversed chloroquine (RCQ) is a multiple ligand compound active against chloroquine-sensitive and resistant falciparum malaria. It is composed by a 4-aminoquinoline moiety (like that present in chloroquine (CQ)) joined to imipramine (IMP), a modulating agent that also showed intrinsic antiplasmodial activity against Brazilian Plasmodium falciparum ...

PSYCHOMETRICS OF THE READINESS TO CHANGE QUESTIONNAIRE (RCQ): THE LITHUANIAN VERSION

open access: diamondInternational Journal of Psychology : a Biopsychosocial Approach, 2016
Background: It is well known that unhealthy lifestyle is one of the most important risk factors for morbidity and mortality due to cardiac diseases. People who suffered or are suffering from heart related problems usually undertake cardiac rehabilitation procedures which help them improve their health and make lifestyle changes.
