Bayesian parametric estimation of stop-signal reaction time distributions.

open access: yesJournal of experimental psychology. General, 2013
The cognitive concept of response inhibition can be measured with the stop-signal paradigm. In this paradigm, participants perform a 2-choice response time (RT) task where, on some of the trials, the primary task is interrupted by a stop signal that ...

Fractional Reaction-Diffusion Equation

open access: yes, 2003
A fractional reaction-diffusion equation is derived from a continuous time random walk model when the transport is dispersive. The exit from the encounter distance, which is described by the algebraic waiting time distribution of jump motion, interferes ...

Reversible A <-> B reaction - diffusion process with initially mixed reactants: boundary layer function approach [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
The reversible A <-> B reaction-diffusion process, when species A and B are initially mixed and diffuse with different diffusion coefficients, is investigated using the boundary layer function method. It is assumed that the ratio of the characteristic time of the reaction to the characteristic time of diffusion is taken as a small parameter of the task.

Assessing Visual Statistical Learning in Early-School-Aged Children: The Usefulness of an Online Reaction Time Measure

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2019
Visual statistical learning (VSL) was traditionally tested through offline two-alternative forced choice (2-AFC) questions. More recently, online reaction time (RT) measures and alternative offline question types have been developed to further ...
