Bayesian parametric estimation of stop-signal reaction time distributions.
The cognitive concept of response inhibition can be measured with the stop-signal paradigm. In this paradigm, participants perform a 2-choice response time (RT) task where, on some of the trials, the primary task is interrupted by a stop signal that ...

Fractional Reaction-Diffusion Equation
A fractional reaction-diffusion equation is derived from a continuous time random walk model when the transport is dispersive. The exit from the encounter distance, which is described by the algebraic waiting time distribution of jump motion, interferes ...

Reaction-time symptoms of deception
Professor Hugo Munsterberg began experiment upon what was planned to be a series of psycho-physiological problems in the field of legal testimony. The first psycho-legal problem to be approached was the investigation of the psycho-physiological symptoms ...

Reversible A <-> B reaction - diffusion process with initially mixed reactants: boundary layer function approach [PDF]
The reversible A <-> B reaction-diffusion process, when species A and B are initially mixed and diffuse with different diffusion coefficients, is investigated using the boundary layer function method. It is assumed that the ratio of the characteristic time of the reaction to the characteristic time of diffusion is taken as a small parameter of the task.
