Research and Engineering Practice of Var-Voltage Control in Primary and Distribution Networks Considering the Reactive Power Regulation Capability of Distributed PV Systems

open access: yesEnergies
To fully utilize the reactive power resources of distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems, this study proposes a coordinated var-voltage control strategy for the main distribution network, incorporating the reactive power regulation capability of ...

Coordinated voltage regulation of hybrid AC/DC medium voltage distribution networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In a hybrid AC/DC medium voltage distribution network, distributed generations (DGs), energy storage systems (ESSs), and the voltage source converters (VSCs) between AC and DC lines, have the ability to regulate node voltages in real-time.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Collaborative scheduling method of active-reactive power for rural distribution systems with a high proportion of renewable energy

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
Large-scale distributed renewable energy connected to the rural distribution network has given birth to a new rural distribution system with a high proportion of new energy typical characteristics, and the optimal scheduling of the new rural distribution

Comprehensive steady state analysis of bidirectional dual active bridge DC/DC converter using triple phase shift control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Several papers have been published recently on TPS control of dual active bridge (DAB) converter, however, no complete study of the converter operation behaviour exists, that takes into account all switching modes in both charging and discharging ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Two-stage voltage control partitioning method for distribution network containing distributed generation

open access: yes电力工程技术
Aiming at the characteristics of large-scale data in the distribution network with distributed generation, as well as the limitations of the traditional grid partitioning method based on complex network theory, such as irrational partitioning and ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.
