Ordered assembly of Cas12a for better performance of CRISPR/Cas system with application to the diagnosis of dental caries

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Here, we present a tetrahedral DNA framework (TDF)‐mediated Cas12a ordered assembly strategy. TDFs arrange CRISPR/Cas12a into ordered structures controllably, enhancing catalytic efficiency through localized Cas12a hotspots while maintaining spatial intervals to facilitate substrate diffusion.

Machine Learning‐Based Estimation of Reference Evapotranspiration and Crop Coefficients for Wheat Under Diverse Climatic Conditions

open access: yesIrrigation and Drainage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Accurate estimation of reference evapotranspiration (ET0) and crop coefficients (Kc) is critical for irrigation planning, particularly in data‐limited regions where agriculture dominates freshwater consumption. Although machine learning (ML) methods have been widely applied to ET0 and Kc estimation, most studies address these parameters ...

AI‐Powered Gradient Echo Plural Contrast Imaging (AI‐GEPCI)—A Comprehensive Neurological Protocol From a Single MRI Scan

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background MRI is essential for diagnosing and monitoring neurological diseases. Conventional protocols require multiple sequences to obtain complementary contrasts, increasing scan time, cost, and tolerability. Generating multiple contrasts from a single acquisition may streamline workflow while maintaining clinical utility.

Models of DG‐Carbon Bands in Raman Spectra: Effects of Basis Functions and Initial Values on the Uniqueness and S/N of Fits Obtained for Atmospheric Aerosol Using Automated Methods

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
Raman spectra containing D/G features are fit using combinations of basis functions and initial conditions. Fits with two Lorentzian functions converged to a single optimized fit even with variation of initial peak positions. For five‐band fits, sometimes the final fit varied with initial conditions, and constraints on peak center position were ...

When a Week Is Not A Week: How Temporal Boundaries Shift Regulatory Focus and Consumer Preference

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Does consumer perception of a sales event change if it falls across a calendar boundary (e.g., next month) versus within the current month, holding objective time constant? We investigate this question in the context of Cyber Monday, the global shopping event occurring the Monday after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday.
