Diagnostic information for realizability
Realizability – checking whether a specification can be implemented by an open system – is a fundamental step in the design flow. However, if the specification turns out not to be realizable, there is no method to pinpoint the causes for unrealizability.

A compact passive engineered surface converts changes in microwave frequency into many distinct illumination patterns, allowing nearby objects to be imaged without mechanical scanning, active tuning, or a large antenna array. Operating from 18 to 28 GHz, the single‐port system uses measured field patterns to reconstruct metallic targets and distinguish

Church => Scott = Ptime: an application of resource sensitive realizability [PDF]
We introduce a variant of linear logic with second order quantifiers and type fixpoints, both restricted to purely linear formulas. The Church encodings of binary words are typed by a standard non-linear type `Church,' while the Scott encodings (purely ...

Experimental and numerical study of liquid–liquid systems using the Euler–Lagrange/VOF approach
Abstract Achieving stable liquid–liquid dispersions with controlled droplet size remains a challenge due to the complex interplay of dispersed phase viscosity, hydrodynamic conditions and interfacial interactions. This work presents a validated computational framework for droplet breakage and coalescence in liquid–liquid dispersions with variable ...

Stylized facts and multiple realizability in econophysics
Stylized facts are persistent macro-regularities which cannot be described in terms of microeconomic theory. Through the argument of multiple realizability, this methodological paper claims that a top down agent-based econophysics can contribute to a ...

Concurrent Realizability on Conjunctive Structures
The point of this work is to explore axiomatisations of concurrent computation using the technology of proof theory and realizability. To deal with this problem, we redefine the Concurrent Realizability of Beffara using as realizers a $\pi$-calculus with

Materials informatics and autonomous experimentation are transforming the discovery of organic molecular crystals. This review presents an integrated molecule–crystal–function–optimization workflow combining machine learning, crystal structure prediction, and Bayesian optimization with robotic platforms.

Vertical NAND Flash Memory‐Based Bayesian Neural Networks With Intrinsic Gaussian Weight Sampling
Commercial vertical NAND flash memory supports Bayesian neural networks by using paired cells to produce bell‐shaped weight distributions. Read voltage controls their spread without additional memory cells or changes to the array structure. Simulations based on device measurements demonstrate improved uncertainty estimation and accuracy gains of up to ...

Rethinking Support Allocation: Mental Health and Patterns of Homelessness Support Utilisation
ABSTRACT Homelessness support agencies face substantial puzzles in allocating scarce resources: who gets access and who stays on the waitlist? This paper examines the influence of mental illness on the patterns of consuming non‐clinical homelessness support by persons experiencing homelessness and at risk.
