Abkhazia is a breakaway region of Georgia with 240, 000 population (Freedom House. 2018). Ethnic Abkhazians firstly expanded over western Georgia in the ninth century and soon integrated in Sakartvelo with ethnic Georgians. There were no any interstate disputes between Abkhazians and Georgians during long-term history.
