RB1 inactivation in cutaneous carcinomas

open access: yesHistopathology, Volume 88, Issue 4, Page 769-789, March 2026.
Among skin carcinomas, recurrent RB1 inactivation is observed in Merkel cell carcinoma, in a subset of squamous cell carcinoma with bowenoid morphology, in sebaceous carcinoma and in the recently described Wnt/beta‐catenin rosette‐forming carcinoma.

The role of cytokines in ovarian cancer drug resistance

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 4, Page 821-834, 15 February 2026.
Abstract Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death among women diagnosed with female reproductive system cancers. While significant advances have been made in treating various types of cancer, progress in ovarian cancer treatment over the past 20 years has been minimal, and the treatment course of ovarian cancer is not linear. Although many patients

A Patient‐Derived Organoid Biobank of Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma as a Platform for Drug Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 7, 3 February 2026.
This study successfully establishes adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma (ACP) patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) that preserve the histopathological and genetic features of the original tumors. Through drug sensitivity assays and subsequent mechanistic analyses, the study demonstrates that Ceritinib exerts its inhibitory effects on ACP PDO growth by ...

The Tumor‐to‐Endothelial Transfer of FTO Promotes Vascular Remodeling and Metastasis in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.
Integrated omics analysis of matched primary and liver metastatic NPC tumors reveals a unique NOTCH1+ CSC subpopulation exhibiting enhanced stemness properties and tumorigenic capacity. With in vitro and in vivo assays, exosomal transfer of tumor‐derived FTO from NOTCH1+ cells to the endothelium promotes vascular permeability and metastatic potential ...
