Therapeutic Extracellular Vesicles from Synovial Fibroblast‐Primed MSCs for Osteoarthritis Treatment
EVs derived from the microenvironment of SFs transferred MSCs (miSF‐MSC‐EVs) enhanced the expression of miRNAs that regulate cell migration, cell adhesion, and the TGF‐β signaling pathway, demonstrating superior anti‐inflammatory and cartilage regeneration effects compared to conventional MSC‐EVs.

Studies investigating peripheral blood derived cells that express the high affinity receptor for immunoglobulin E (Fc?RI) In Allergic Disorders [PDF]
It is just forty years since the identification of immunoglobulin E (IgE) as the reagin responsible for allergen induced immediate hypersensitivity reactions.

Interactions Between Candida albicans and Host
Interações entre Candida albicans e Hospedeiro
Candida albicans can cause grave infections in patients who are immunocompromised by diseases, by surgery, or by immunesupresive therapy. The high levels of morbidity and mortality resulting from those infections in hospitalized patients show that C ...

Encoded Cell‐Material Interactions to Reroute Cytokine Signaling for Regenerative Medicine
We present native MATRIX (Material Activated To Regulate Inducible gene eXpression), a co‐engineered material‐cell platform. Surfaces functionalized with antibodies for endogenous soluble ligands (e.g., IL‐1β or IL‐6) capture and immobilize ligands for presentation to a cognate, engineered synthetic Notch receptor, releasing a transcription factor (TF)

Interleukin-4 receptor pathway in neurons
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic demyelinating inflammatory disease of the central nervous system (CNS) and belongs to the most frequent causes of irreversible disability in younger people. During the disease course of MS and the corresponding animal model experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), both adaptive and innate immune cells ...

A wearable electrochemical microneedle patch integrates Prussian Blue redox transduction with molecularly imprinted polymer recognition for reagent‐free sampling and detection of thrombo‐inflammatory biomarkers in dermal interstitial fluid. The platform tracks thrombin and inflammatory cytokines with sensitive in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo performance,

Serum levels of interleukin-2 in cancer patients: Preliminary considerations
In order to investigate the production of interleukin-2 (IL-2) in human neoplasms, we determined IL-2 and soluble IL-2 receptors (sIL-2R) in serum from 18 patients with lymphoma and 28 patients with solid tumors, with (15 cases) or without (13 cases ...

We report a wearable photonic patch integrating room light‐ and sunlight‐activatable luminescent particles (RSLPs) for both photochemical tissue bonding and photobiomodulation. RSLPs harvest ambient light and emit red luminescence to drive chlorin e6–mediated collagen crosslinking.

Exploring the Potential of Receptor Silencing in the Tumor Microenvironment by RNA Interference
Cancer is a heterogeneous disease caused by genetic and epigenetic factors, leading to alterations in signaling pathways and regulatory processes. Overall, the more commonly employed conventional treatments present side effects and resistance. Due to the
