Recovery From Anorexia Nervosa: A Concept Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Nursing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Despite decades of research, we still know surprisingly little about how best to bring about lasting recovery from anorexia nervosa (AN). Furthermore, there is a lack of consensus in the research and treatment communities about what constitutes recovery from AN, or whether “recovery” is even an appropriate term to use in this context.

Nonapeptide cell size differs between male morphs of the West African cichlid, Pelvicachromis pulcher

open access: yesJournal of Fish Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Alternative male morphs are found in many species of fishes. Midwifery Communication for Childbirth: A Practical Approach

open access: yesJournal of Midwifery &Women's Health, EarlyView.
Abstract During labor and birth, inadvertent negative suggestions from care givers and support people are common and may lead to negative experiences known as nocebo effects. Counteracting nocebo effects with the use of effective communication techniques can reduce distress, enhance birth experiences, and improve health outcomes.
