Securing reconfigurable terminals - mechanisms and protocols
Software reconfigurability of air interfaces, the actual reconfiguration processes and the procurement of reconfiguration software are posing substantial threats to the system integrity of wireless communication system. These threats are investigated and reported, and mechanisms to ensure secure reconfiguration procedures are described.

Mechanically pattern reconfigurable antenna using metasurface
A radiation pattern reconfigurable antenna designed using metasurface (MS) is proposed in this study. The pattern reconfigurable metasurfaced (PaRMS) antenna is composed of a planar semi‐circular MS placed directly atop of a planar circular patch antenna with a diameter of 70 mm (1.2 λ 0

Hypervisor mechanisms to manage FPGA reconfigurable accelerators [PDF]
In the last decade, the research on CPU-FPGA hybrid architectures has become a hot topic. One of the main challenges in this domain consists in efficiently and safely managing dynamic partial reconfiguration (DPR) resources. This paper focuses on the management of the reconfiguration by an hypervisor on an ARM-FPGA platform.

Mechanism State Matrices for Spatial Reconfigurable Mechanisms
This paper improves augmented mechanism state matrices by replacing joint code with screw system notation. The proposed substitution allows for a more specific description of the joints in the mechanism and the capability to describe both spatial and planar mechanisms. Examples are provided which elucidate the proposed approach.

Reconfigurable/Foldable Overconstrained Mechanism and Its Application
The paper presents some possible applications started from a six revolute joints (6R) overconstrained mechanism. The spatial devices obtained are based on the 6R Wohlhart symmetric mechanism in a special spatial position, with three non-adjacent joints ...
