New partition function recurrences [PDF]
arXiv, 2020 We present Euler-type recurrence relations for some partition functions. Some of our results provide new recurrences for the number of unrestricted partitions of $n$, denote by $p(n)$. Others establish recurrences for partition functions not yet considered.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

Generalized Schreier sets, linear recurrence relation, Turán graphs [PDF]
arXiv, 2021 We prove a linear recurrence relation for a large family of generalized Schreier sets, which generalizes the Fibonacci recurrence proved by Bird and higher order Fibonacci recurrence proved by the second author et al. Furthermore, we show a relationship between Schreier-type sets and Tur\'{a}n graphs.

Recurrence Relations for Wronskian Hermite Polynomials [PDF]
SIGMA 14 (2018), 048, 29 pages, 2018 We consider polynomials that are defined as Wronskians of certain sets of Hermite polynomials. Our main result is a recurrence relation for these polynomials in terms of those of one or two degrees smaller, which generalizes the well-known three term recurrence relation for Hermite polynomials.

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.
