Recurrent generalized (κ,μ) space forms. [PDF]
In this paper we study generalized (k, µ) space forms by considering certain curvature conditions like generalized recurrent, ricci recurrent, generalized φ recurrent conditions.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Contact problem of torsion of a multilayer base with elastic connections between layers
Torsion of a multilayer base with elastic connections between layers by cylindrical punch with a flat sole was considered. The Hankel integral transform of the first order and the method of the compliance functions were used.

Seeking functions for spinal recurrent inhibition
In this issue of The Journal of Physiology, Lamy et al. (2008) describe a rhythmic modulation of recurrent inhibition during walking in man. This provides some insight into the function of recurrent inhibition, first described by Renshaw (1941) as an inhibition of cat motoneurones produced by antidromic stimulation of the axons of neighbouring ...

Tail behaviour of stationary distribution for Markov chains with asymptotically zero drift
We consider a Markov chain on $R^+$ with asymptotically zero drift and finite second moments of jumps which is positive recurrent. A power-like asymptotic behaviour of the invariant tail distribution is proven; such a heavy-tailed invariant measure ...

An integration of Euler's pentagonal partition [PDF]
A recurrent formula is presented, for the enumeration of the compositions of positive integers as sums over multisets of positive integers, that closely resembles Euler's recurrence based on the pentagonal numbers, but where the coefficients result from ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Configurable Model for Sigmoid and Hyperbolic Tangent Functions
Recurrent neural networks (RNNs) are considered to be among the most important types of neural networks especially for the applications where processing of a sequence of data comes to place. RNNs are in general computationally expensive and need a lot of

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
