The Red-Edge Effects in Laurdan Solutions
The luminescence spectrum of laurdan in glycerol consists of two bands with maxima at 425 and 500 nm. The strong dependence of this spectrum on the energy of the excitation quanta is demonstrated. When, excited on the red-edge slope of the absorption band, it is investigated at various temperatures.

Sensitivity of Vegetation Indices for Estimating Vegetative N Status in Winter Wheat
Precise sensor-based non-destructive estimation of crop nitrogen (N) status is essential for low-cost, objective optimization of N fertilization, as well as for early estimation of yield potential and N use efficiency.

Red-edge (RE) spectral vegetation indices (SVIs)—combining bands on the sharp change region between near infrared (NIR) and visible (VIS) bands—alongside with SVIs solely based on NIR-shoulder bands (wavelengths 750–900 nm) have been shown to perform ...

On Partitioning the Edges of 1-Plane Graphs
A 1-plane graph is a graph embedded in the plane such that each edge is crossed at most once. A 1-plane graph is optimal if it has maximum edge density.

High-throughput, non-invasive phenotyping is promising for evaluating crop nitrogen (N) use efficiency (NUE) and grain yield (GY) formation under field conditions, but its application for genotypes differing in morphology and phenology is still rarely ...

Dark-adapted red flash ERGs in healthy adults [PDF]
Purpose: The x-wave of the dark-adapted (DA) ERG to a red flash reflects DA cone function. This exploratory study of healthy adults aimed to investigate changes in the DA red ERG with flash strength and during dark adaptation to optimise visualisation ...
