Programming Neuromorphic Plasticity Through Ionic and Electronic Coupling in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Neuromorphic plasticity in OECTs is governed by the post‐stimulus evolution of coupled ionic and electronic states. Semiconductor chemistry and morphology, electrolyte composition and interfaces, and device architecture regulate ion injection, transport, confinement, and release, shifting responses from rapidly relaxing STP to metastable memory and ...

Molecular Bridges for 2D Nanomaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular cross‐linking provides a versatile strategy to engineer interfaces in 2D materials. By tuning the linker backbone, binding mode, and interflake spacing, molecular bridges can regulate charge transport, mechanical integrity, chemical functionality, and processing.

Redox and Reactive Oxygen Species Regulation of Mitochondrial Cytochrome c Oxidase Biogenesis

open access: yes, 2013
Significance: Cytochrome c oxidase (COX), the last enzyme of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, is the major oxygen consumer enzyme in the cell. COX biogenesis involves several redox-regulated steps.

Spatial and vertical distribution of redox‐sensitive elements and their controlling factors in deep soils under contrasting land cover in the Gulf Coastal Plains

open access: yesVadose Zone Journal
Redox processes in soil governs key biogeochemical cycles and influence carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus dynamics. However, their role in deep vadose zone soils remains poorly understood, particularly in variably saturated environments with heterogeneous

Selenium‐Integrated Cyanine Dye With Enhanced Photophysical Properties for Optoacoustic‐Guided Cancer Imaging and Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces selenium‐integrated cyanine dye (Se‐Cyn), with superior photostability, absorption, and photothermal efficiency, outperforming ICG in NIR window. Its nanoparticle form remains stable in water, accumulates in tumors, and enables strong optoacoustic imaging and effective phototherapy outcomes.

Redox-Mediated ORR and OER Reactions: Redox Flow Lithium Oxygen Batteries Enabled with a Pair of Soluble Redox Catalysts

open access: yes, 2016
We demonstrate a redox flow lithium oxygen battery (RFLOB) using a pair of soluble redox catalysts, 2,5-di-tert-butyl-p-benzoquinone (DTBBQ) and tris{4-[2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy]phenyl}amine (TMPPA).

Self‐Adaptive Gradient Interphase Enables Durable Solid‐State Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a machine learning‐guided interfacial design that forms a self‐adaptive graded interphase on lithium metal anode. A B105M40 composite interlayer evolves into lithiophilic, porous, and fast‐ion‐conducting phases, enabling intimate contact, dendrite suppression, and uniform lithium deposition.
