Parallel accelerated cyclic reduction preconditioner for three-dimensional elliptic PDEs with variable coefficients [PDF]
We present a robust and scalable preconditioner for the solution of large-scale linear systems that arise from the discretization of elliptic PDEs amenable to rank compression.

Finite-Dimensional Representations of Hyper Loop Algebras
We study finite-dimensional representations of hyper loop algebras, i.e., the hyperalgebras over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic associated to the loop algebra over a complex finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra.

Parameter identification is an important research topic with a variety of applications in industrial and environmental problems. Usually, a functional has to be minimized in conjunction with parameter identification; thus, there is a certain similarity ...

Special L-values of t-motives: a conjecture
We propose a conjecture on special values of $ L $-functions in a function field context with positive characteristic coefficients. For $ M $ a uniformizable $ t $-motive with everywhere good reduction we conjecture a relation between the value of the ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
