Because of the contradiction between the spatial and temporal resolution of remote sensing images (RSI) and quality loss in the process of acquisition, it is of great significance to reconstruct RSI in remote sensing applications.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

The Investigation of Maximum and Minimum Stock Price’s Effects as Reference Point on Volume in Tehran Stock Exchange [PDF]
One of the new approach in finance literature is behavioral finance, that describes behavior of investors and satisfies some of the anomalies that effective market hypothesizes were not able to describe it.

Reference Priors for the Generalized Extreme Value Distribution
Summary: We derive a collection of reference prior distributions for a Bayesian analysis under the three-parameter generalized extreme value (GEV) distribution. These priors are based on an established formal definition of oninformativeness. They depend on the ordering of the three parameters, and we show that the GEV is unusual in that some orderings ...

Reference Priors for the Orbit in a Group Model
For a group model in which the group $\mathbf{G}$ acts freely on the parameter space $\mathbf{\Omega}$, this paper considers a prior which is a product of right Haar measure on $\mathbf{G}$ and a limiting form of Jeffreys' prior for the maximal invariant. When the parameter of interest is the orbit of $\mathbf{G}$ in $\mathbf{\Omega}$, it is shown that

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Normalized Power Prior Bayesian Analysis [PDF]
The elicitation of power prior distributions is based on the availability of historical data, and is realized by raising the likelihood function of the historical data to a fractional power. However, an arbitrary positive constant before the like- lihood

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...
