Modern Reflectarray Antennas: A Review of the Design, State-of-the-Art, and Research Challenges
As communication technology advances, high-gain antennas are being investigated for a variety of long-distance applications. One such high gain antenna is reflectarray, it has combined advantageous characteristics of a reflector and phased array antennas.

It is shown that the dominant factor controlling reflectarray bandwidth is the bandwidth of the radiating element, and that the effect of non-constant path delays over the surface of the flat reflector has little significance unless the aperture is electrically very large and the f/D ratio is small. An example of a polarisation-twist reflectarray using

Broadband Lumped Mirror Array mmWave Antenna for Wireless and Defense Systems
This article introduces a novel lumped mirror array mmWave antenna designed for multiband microwave applications, including 5G, satellite communication, and defense systems. The antenna operates over a broad frequency range from 4.7 to 67.63 GHz, offering excellent impedance bandwidth of 70.4%. Developed on an FR‐4 substrate with dimensions of 160 × 70

A high gain and high radiation efficiency optical transparent Fabry–Perot cavity antenna
A novel high gain, high efficiency optically transparent Fabry–Perot Cavity antenna operating in millimetre‐wave is proposed. The antenna employs dual layers of transparent reflective surfaces and a transparent electromagnetic band gap ground to enhance the work band and obtain a high gain radiation.

All‐dielectric circularly polarised loop antenna made of high‐permittivity ceramic/water
A class of all‐dielectric CP loop antenna made of high‐permittivity ceramic/water is proposed to take full advantages of dielectric characteristics. 3‐D printing technology is here utilised to form the all‐in‐one structure of the proposed antenna. This work provides a methodology for the implementation of all‐dielectric CP antennas with all‐in‐one ...
