Quantum‐Capacitance Biosensing Enables Real‐Time Monitoring of Naxitamab for Therapeutic Response Stratification in Neuroblastoma

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 8, August 2026.
Quantum‐capacitance biosensing enables real‐time monitoring of naxitamab in patient samples via laser‐fabricated electrodes and single‐point calibration. The proposed platform provides rapid and sensitive quantification, with the potential to enable therapeutic drug monitoring and patient stratification according to circulating naxitamab levels, while ...

Recycling End‐of‐Life Solid Oxide Cell Interconnect Assemblies into Commercial‐Grade AISI 304 Stainless Steels

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 8, Page 4363-4381, August 2026.
This study validates a recycling pathway for converting interconnect assemblies from end‐of‐life SOC stacks into commercial‐grade AISI 304 steels. Using scrap‐based steelmaking operations, austenitic cast steels with <4.0% δ‐ferrite are successfully produced.

Effective Equilibrium Reaction Zone Modeling of Hydrogen Plasma Smelting Reduction: A Scenario Analysis

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 8, Page 4138-4161, August 2026.
The study presents a dynamic zonal model for hydrogen plasma smelting reduction (HPSR) in direct current arc furnaces, predicting time‐dependent behavior of metal, slag, and off‐gas. The study considers various industrial scenarios to quantify energy demand, hydrogen utilization, degree of reduction, and other operational sensitivities.

Benguela Upwelling Filaments Are a Significant Pathway of New Nutrients to the South Atlantic Subtropical Gyre

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, Volume 131, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract In the transition zones between eastern boundary upwelling regions and subtropical gyres, upwelling and offshore moving filaments generated by frontal instabilities play an important role in the gyre‐ward transport of new nutrients and phytoplankton biomass. However, quantification of such transport using field data remains sparse.
