An efficient common source sense amplifier for single ended SRAM
Sense amplifiers (SA) play a vital role in supporting the read performance of static random-access memory (SRAM). Single ended SRAM has attracted importance due to low leakage current and absence of time margin compared to differential SA.

Numerical Simulation of High-Energy, Ytterbium-Doped Amplifier Tunability
The study of wavelength tunability for the gain media Yb:CaF2 and Yb:YAG in a regenerative amplifier configuration, was performed by using a simulation code previously benchmarked with real data. The results demonstrate that both materials have potential

Generation of phase-stable sub-mJ ultrashort laser pulse bursts with extremely high scalable pulse number [PDF]
We demonstrate generation of bursts that consist of up to 40 ultrashort pulses with 10 μJ pulse energy, 250 fs pulse duration and an ultrashort tunable spacing, from picoseconds to nanoseconds, corresponding to a terahertz intraburst repetition rate ...

Essential nonlinearities in hearing [PDF]
Our hearing organ, the cochlea, evidently poises itself at a Hopf bifurcation to maximize tuning and amplification. We show that in this condition several effects are expected to be generic: compression of the dynamic range, infinitely shrap tuning at ...

A Yb:KGW dual-crystal regenerative amplifier [PDF]
Abstract This study develops a Yb:KGW dual-crystal based regenerative amplifier. The thermal lensing and gain-narrowing effects are compensated by the dual-crystal configuration. Sub-nanojoule pulses are amplified to 1.5 mJ with 9 nm spectral bandwidth and 1 kHz repetition rate using chirped pulse amplification technology.
