The epigenetic regulation of autonomous replicons
The discovery of autonomous replicating sequences (ARSs) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae in 1979 was considered a milestone in unraveling the regulation of replication in eukaryotic cells.

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.

Mpox virus OPG175 negatively regulates viral replication by controlling Wnt signaling
Mpox virus (MPXV) infection exhibits different case fatality rates and symptoms depending on its clade. However, there has been insufficient molecular biological analysis of the differences between clades. Here, we investigated whether clades can be distinguished by focusing on the expression of MPXV genes. The replication efficiency of MPXV clade IIb,

Pestiviruses utilize pyrimidine metabolism to regulate mitophagy for viral replication
DHODH (dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (quinone)) has been demonstrated as a critical regulator of programmed cell death, yet its role in macroautophagy/autophagy remains poorly defined. Flaviviridae pose a significant threat to global public health, and their replication is closely associated with autophagy. Building upon our previous findings that DHODH

Tuning Mechanoreceptor Signaling Enhances the Adjuvant Effect of Biomaterial Vaccines
Matrix stiffness serves as an independent immunological signal in biomaterial vaccines. Stiffer microporous hydrogel vaccines enhance dendritic cell maturation and migration to draining lymph nodes, promote T follicular helper cell expansion through Yap/Taz signaling, and increase antigen‐specific antibody production.

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.
