This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

A Man as the Regulator in Man-Machine Systems
The aim of the paper is to present the role of the human element in regularly used man-machine systems (MMS). From the technical point of view, it is possible to denote the human being and the machine as two components of one system.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

THE CONTROLLER OF FUZZY LOGIC IN THE MANAGEMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES
Introduction. The current stage of progress is associated with the development and implementation of intelligent systems and technologies that provide the formation of clear solutions based on fuzzy rules, fuzzy conclusion and fuzzy control. However, the

Regulator proofs for Boyd's identities on genus 2 curves
We use the elliptic regulator to recover some identities between Mahler measures involving certain families of genus 2 curves that were conjectured by Boyd and proven by Bertin and Zudilin by differentiating the Mahler measures and using hypergeometric ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
