This study was carried out to determine the feed values of grape wastes of wine industry. In this study, wastes of wine industry; dried grape pomace, grape seeds and grape pomace pellets produced for fuel were used as feed sources. The nutrient contents, relative feed values (RFV), condensed tannin (CT) contents and in vitro true digestibilities (IVTD)

Chemical composition and relative feed value of three Mediterranean fodder shrubs
This study was conducted to compare forage quality of three dominant Mediterranean species (Haloxylon schmittianum, Anabasis articulata, Astragalus armatus) in a semi-arid rangeland, Tebessa, east of Algeria. The shrubs were hand harvested at the flowering stage.

Validation of Equations Used To Estimate Relative Feed Value of Alfalfa Hay
Twenty alfalfa hay sources, grown under irrigation in Wyoming, were fed to 24 fine-wool wether lambs (average weight = 44.9 kg) to determine dry matter intake (DMI), expressed as a percentage of body weight, and digestible dry matter (DDM). These data were used to evaluate equations utilized in predicting relative feed value (RFV) of forages.

NEW MULTIVARIATE EMPIRICAL PREDICTION EQUATION FOR RELATIVE FEED VALUE OF NATIVE GRASSES
Relative feed value and structural mineral differentiation of native grasses and their relationships at different plant growth stages were studied to create a more informative multivariate model to predict relative feed value. The hierarchical clustering grouped the species and their growth stages under six distinct categories with their average ...
