Mining Missing Hyperlinks from Human Navigation Traces: A Case Study of Wikipedia [PDF]
Hyperlinks are an essential feature of the World Wide Web. They are especially important for online encyclopedias such as Wikipedia: an article can often only be understood in the context of related articles, and hyperlinks make it easy to explore this ...

Intercepting Higher-Speed Targets Using Generalized Relative Biased Proportional Navigation
To intercept a higher-speed target in the terminal guidance phase, this paper proposes a generalized relative biased proportional navigation (BPN) law. In order to enlarge the capture domain of the classical proportional navigation (PN) law and make full

GPS relative navigation in rendezvous operations
The possibility of obtaining excellent results in rendezvous operations is investigated. A model of the GPS receiver to beinstalled on board the chaser is proposed. It can give both the relative navigation data and absolute navigation data. The results of a computer simulation are also presented.

Study of effects of uncertainties on comet and asteroid encounter and contact guidance requirements. Part 1: Guidance and navigation studies [PDF]
A guidance algorithm that provides precise rendezvous in the deterministic case while requiring only relative state information is developed. A navigation scheme employing only onboard relative measurements is built around a Kalman filter set in ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Proportional Navigation Guidance with Variable Navigation Ratio in terms of the angle of relative velocity with respect to Line-of-Sight and its Rate [PDF]
In the present work, the performance of True Proportional Navigation (TPN) with different profiles for effective navigation ratio in terms of the relative velocity angle with respect to line-of-sight is investigated due to initial heading errors and ...
