Research on Control Factors of Remaining Oil Distribution

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2019
Abstract Aiming at the characteristics of the overall dispersion and local enrichment of residual oil in the high water cut period of the continental water flooding reservoir, the Fuyang oil layer in the V block of Xinli Oilfield is taken as the research object, the remaining oil enrichment law is the main line, and the comprehensive ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Progress and direction of water flooding development technologies in Shengli Oilfield

open access: yesYouqi dizhi yu caishoulu
Water-flooding reservoirs are the mainstay in developing mature oilfields in eastern China, and they have entered the ultra-high water cut stage as a whole after long-term water injection development. Laboratory studies and field practice show that there

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Prediction of Intraformational Remaining Oil Distribution Based on Reservoir Heterogeneity: Application to the J-Field

open access: yes, 2021
At high water cut stage, the study of remaining oil distribution in water-flooding reservoir is the basis of implementing potential-tapping measures and enhancing oil recovery.

Chameleon sequences reveal structural effects in proteins representing micelle‐like distribution of hydrophobicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Distribution rules of remaining oil by bottom water flooding and potential exploitation strategy in fault- controlled fractured-vuggy reservoirs

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development
Based on the tectonic genesis and seismic data of fault-controlled fractured-vuggy reservoirs, the typical fractured-vuggy structure features were analyzed.
