Low-power polygon renderer for computer graphics
Proceedings of International Conference on Application Specific Array Processors (ASAP '93), 2002Polygon rasterization is the most computational and memory intense stage in rendering synthesized computer images. The authors present a low-power, real-time hardware implementation for this task. Rasterization of two-dimensional Gouraud-shaded polygons at 90,000 polygons/sec is achievable with computational power consumption of about 12 mW at 1.5 V ...

Control of interactive computer graphics rendering process
2011 9th IEEE International Conference on Control and Automation (ICCA), 2011The real-time computer graphics rendering processes embody complex state transitions and fast dynamics amidst observable steady state behavior. This paper presents a systematic framework by which control principles are introduced for tracking control of the rendering processes. The control theoretic approach surpasses existing heuristics and algorithms

Computer graphic system for rendering gonio-apparent colors
SPIE Proceedings, 2002A computer graphic system has been developed that allows a color scientist to evaluate the appearance of gonio-apparent colors. Reflection modeling software is used to define a BRDF from existing computer graphic reflection models and standard appearance measurements for gloss and metallic travel.

DNA-Rendering: A Diverse Neural Actor Repository for High-Fidelity Human-centric Rendering
IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision, 2023Realistic human-centric rendering plays a key role in both computer vision and computer graphics. Rapid progress has been made in the algorithm aspect over the years, yet existing human-centric rendering datasets and benchmarks are rather impoverished in

Attention for Computer Graphics Rendering
2005ABSTRACT We present a method to accelerate global illumination computation in prerendered animations by taking advantage of visual saliency and the limitations of the human visual system. A visual importance map, constructed from a saliency and visual sensitivity model, is used to accelerate rendering.

Rendering in computer graphics
WIREs Computational Statistics, 2010AbstractIn this paper, some basics and advanced rendering methods in computer graphics are introduced. It takes a serious course to understand the principle and details of computergraphics. Here, I try to explain some basics and methods so that engineers and scientists not in the graphics specialty field will be able to understand graphics rendering ...

Triangle Splatting for Real-Time Radiance Field Rendering
arXiv.orgThe field of computer graphics was revolutionized by models such as Neural Radiance Fields and 3D Gaussian Splatting, displacing triangles as the dominant representation for photogrammetry. In this paper, we argue for a triangle comeback.

Rendering Cloud for Processing Computer Vision, Graphics and Image
INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL ON Advances in Information Sciences and Service Sciences, 2012This paper proposes a novel rendering cloud computing architecture for computer vision, graphics and image processing. This architecture attends to rendering cloud computing through the concept of rendering-aware cloud and cloud-aware rendering. At first we present a rendering-aware cloud that focus on the capability of distributed computing, computer ...
