The interaction between the phosphorylated amino acid O‐phospho‐L‐serine and trivalent ions of f‐elements such as La3+, Eu3+, and Lu3+, supplemented by Y3+, has been studied in aqueous media. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in solution and in the solid state examined complex formation from the ligand perspective, while time‐resolved laser‐

Immobilization Of Rennin Enzyme From Mucor pusillus With Alginate And Its Application In Cheese Making [PDF]
This study was aimed to understand the usage of alginate to immobilize rennin enzyme from Mucor pusillus and to know the good condition of temperature and pH in the cheese making with immobilized rennin enzyme from M. pusillus. Rennin from M.

This review explains how thermal and emerging nonthermal technologies reshape casein molecular and micellar structures, modifying their functional behaviour in dairy systems. It clarifies structure–function mechanisms and highlights processing strategies that enhance stability, emulsification, gelation and applicability in modern high‐protein and ...

A Procedure for Measuring Residual Rennin Activity in Whey and Curd From Freshly Coagulated Milk
A procedure was developed for measuring residual rennin activity in curd extracts and whey. A sensitive substrate at pH 5.8 was prepared by mixing 6 grams of low-heat nonfat dry milk in 500 milliliters buffer containing 0.05 molar cacodylic acid, 0.02 ...

Physico-chemical studies on the enzymatic coagulation of milk
In a recent publication that appeared in this review Alais outlined our present knowledge of κ- and whole casein, of chymosin and other coagulating enzymes. He also described the action of chymosin (rennin) on the casein.

Assessment of milk pasteurisation in artisanal cheeses using colorimetric analysis: A novel approach
CIELAB b* was applied as a novel quantitative parameter to assess alkaline phosphatase. ALP activity in raw milk cheeses declined during maturation. Aqueous extraction distinguished raw and pasteurised cheeses, showing practical value. The method lowers analytical costs and provides a practical tool for food safety inspection.

Molecular Pharming: Advances, Applications, and Future Prospects in Biotechnology and Medicine
ABSTRACT Genetically engineered plants incorporate the use of a novel bioreactor known as molecular pharming, which has a transformative view on the pharmaceutical industry. The technique enables mass production, at a low cost, and reproducibly of a large number of different protein‐based drugs, vaccines, and industrial enzymes. This review‐based study
