Constrained optimal control theory for differential linear repetitive processes

open access: yes, 2008
Differential repetitive processes are a distinct class of continuous-discrete two-dimensional linear systems of both systems theoretic and applications interest.

Does visual cortex lactate increase following photic stimulation in migraine without aura patients?: a functional 1H-MRS study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy ((1)H-MRS) has been used in a number of studies to assess noninvasively the temporal changes of lactate (Lac) in the activated human brain.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Modelling of a new hydro-compressed air-storage system

open access: yesInternational Journal of Sustainable Energy, 2018
The interest in energy storage systems is increasing, since it provides an excellent solution to store the low-cost excess energy from the energy sources, which are available at peak demand hours.

Repetitive-Based Control for Selective Active Filters Using Discrete Cosine Transform

open access: yesEletrônica de Potência, 2004
This paper proposes selective harmonic current compensation using a closed-loop repetitive controller. The controller is based on measuring the line currents. It performs the compensation of specific harmonics selected by a DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform)

Repetitive control of electrical stimulation for tremor suppression [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Tremor is a rapid uncontrollable back-and-forth movement of a body part often seen in patients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson’s disease.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Dissipative stability theory for linear repetitive processes with application in iterative learning control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper develops a new set of necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of linear repetitive processes, based on a dissipative setting for analysis.

Digital Current-Control Schemes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The paper is about comparing the performance of digital signal processor-based current controllers for three-phase active power filters. The wide use of nonlinear loads, such as front-end rectifiers connected to the power distribution systems for dc ...
